Maurice Steger, recorder- Hille Perl, viola da gamba -
“A World-Class Baroque Trio” this remarkable Baroque ensemble was thus acclaimed by the press following its premiere concert at the Strasbourg Music Festival in 2005. The unique formation consisting of recorder, viola da gamba and theorbo/archlute/vihuela was catapulted by the press, so to speak, immediately to the top. appearances (such as with the Leipziger Barockorchester, Musica Antiqua Köln and Reinhard
Goebel, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Berliner Barock Solisten / Berliner

recital accompanist], Naoki Kitaya and
Markus Märkl [Andreas Scholl’s recital accompanist, Maurice Steger performs with special enthusiasm
together with Hille Perl and Lee Santana. Their performances are regularly
answered with standing ovations, continual calls for encores and afterwards
hours autographing their CDs. The trio already has a dozen concerts booked for
the coming concert season 06/07. And new dates for the 07/08 season and at
festivals in 2007 and 2008 also already have been booked. Their
