HIGHLIGHTS SPRING/SUMMER 2005
With Fabio Biondi and Europe Galante, Maurice Steger will perform a Vivaldi evening at the Lugano Festival – Tage Alter Musik Regensburg (days of ancient music in Regensburg): The well-known Festival in the historical premises Regensburg takes place in May (concert Steger: 15 May) - Together with Hille Perl, viola de gamba and Lee Santana, lute, Maurice Steger will participate in the Festival de Musique Strasbourg, this year with a Spanish-Italian program (14 June) - Dresden: Bach and Italian with Markus Maerkl, harpsichord (17 June) - Twice in Munich: in the orchestral concert at Schloss Schleissheim (18 June) or in the recital with Sergio Ciomei (15 July) Maurice Steger presents two amazing programs - La Ciaccona: With this chamber music formation the musician is guest at the Rheingaufestival in Schleswig Holstein, in Boswil and in Maulbronn (9 June, 10 June, 28 June, 12 July, 13 July, 14 July) - in July a DVD of the Brandenburgischen Konzerte with the Barocchisti will be produced - With Ruth Ziesak, soprano and Reinhold Friedrich the program ‚Liebesfreud und Liebesleid’ will be created (Theater an der Wien, Menuhin Festival Gstaad and Kyburgiade)

SHORT NEWS: HIGHLIGHTS AUTOMN 2005
At the Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival Maurice Steger will perform three concerts with the ensemble La Ciaccona - Festival Strings Lucerne: Concert at Kloster Bad Pfäfers - Together with Ursula Dütschler Maurice Steger will perform the world premiere of the Paganini Variantions by Ernst Pfiffner - With Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin two evenings are dedicated to Telemann in September at the Konzerthaus Berlin - In the Stadthallen of Sindelfingen and Polling Maurice Steger will perform with Jörg Faerber and the Detmolder Kammerorchester - At some rural places in Switzerland Maurice Steger will perform with the Glarner Musikkollegium under Rudolf Aschmann - In support of the students of Musik-Hochschule Zurich a benefit performance will be featured with well known contributors - End of October the traditional master classes will be held in Schaffhausen - Goodies of chamber music at Schloss Böttstein, at the Zunfthaussaal zum Rüden and in the Klosterkirche Münsterlingen - Take part at a baroque ball dance with original costumes, music and the group Danza Antica in November - At the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig the International chamber music festival will be performed, Italy as special guest - Maurice Steger's first concert with the Berliner Barocksolisten will be performed in Freiburg i. B, dedicated to Bach.
